ABOUT THE LIBRARY
Completed in 1905, the Solvay Public Library was constructed through grants from Andrew Carnegie and the Solvay Process Company, predecessor to AlliedSignal, Inc. The library is located at the corner of Woods and Orchard Roads in Solvay, New York. Its collection contains more than 30,000 books and includes circulating magazines, videos, audiobooks and CDs. There are several computers for public use. Internet access is available.
